Description

Surface contact / tube contact temperature sensor THERMASGARD®
The THERMASGARD® ALTF 2 temperature measuring transducer is a tube contact resistance thermometre with passive output, strap and a terminal box enclosure made of impact resistant plastic with an enclosure cover secured by quick-locking screws.

The THERMASGARD® ALTF 02 temperature measuring transducer is a cost-effective tube contact resistance thermometre, with passive output, strap and a terminal box enclosure made of impact resistant plastic with a snap-on cover.
The ALTF 2 / ALTF 02 surface contact sensor devices are electric contact thermometres used for surface temperature measurement on solids, having at least one so-called contact area that is brought into contact with the surface to be measured. The surface contact temperature sensor determines the temperature of the medium flowing inside a pipe (e.g. the water temperature) by measuring the surface temperature. The tube sensor is used for temperature detection on lines, pipes (e.g. cold and hot water) or on heating sections for heating system control.
