In-ceiling light intensity sensors
PHOTASGARD® DHKF
The PHOTASGARD® DHKF light intensity measuring transducer supports six switchable measuring ranges (six devices in one). The sensor has been designed for installation in suspended ceilings. The connecting head is pluggable for quick and easy mounting. The measuring transducer is accommodated in a separate enclosure.
The sensor is specifically adapted to the sensitivity of the human eye. Its greatest sensitivity is in the range of 350 nm to 820 nm. With its special filter, the sensor is therefore ideally suited to exposure measuring of daylight and/or to measuring artificial light of high colour temperature (similar to sunlight).

The sensor device is used for daylight-dependent constant light control, for controlled operation of luminaires, lighting systems, Venetian and canvas blinds, and for controlling light intensity and solar protection (shutters, blinds) to avoid unnecessary heating-up of rooms. Applications are found in green houses, storage and industrial halls, workshops, corridors, residential and commercial buildings.
