THERMASGARD® ALTF 1 contact sensors are electrical contact thermometers that are used to measure the surface temperature of solid bodies and have at least one so-called contact surface or contact area that is brought into contact with the surface to be measured.
The contact temperature sensor ALTF 1 with connection cable and passive output determines the temperature of the medium flowing in the pipe (e.g. the water temperature) via the surface temperature. The ALTF 1 is a pipe contact resistance thermometer with clamping band and axial sensor tube for temperature measurement on pipes (e.g. cold and hot water) or on heating pipes for heating control.
