DE 10 2012 015 726.6)The HYGRASREG® KW condensation monitor with terminal box housing made of impact-resistant plastic and housing cover with quick-release screws or the cost-effective HYGRASREG® KW - SD with snap-on cover is mounted on cooling ceilings, cooling/cold water pipes or on cooled surfaces and is designed to prevent condensation from forming. It reliably detects condensation with its humidity and temperature sensor (no conductivity measurement) and provides an exact measurement result (with LED status display) thanks to its patented measuring method, prodynamic cross convection. The dew point temperature is the temperature at which the air reaches saturation and water begins to condense. The device can be operated as a monitor on cooling ceilings or pipes so that the switching output is activated when condensation forms on the cooling ceilings or the object to be monitored in order to switch on the heating or other actuators, for example.
