Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) for ARM / C / C++

S+S Regeltechnik GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany, develops and manufactures sensor and field devices for facility automation and sells these brand products in growing markets, worldwide. Since January 2020 S+S Regeltechnik is a part of the Bemsiq group, a pan-European leader in sensors and energy connectivity for the building automation and metering market.

Embedded Software Entwickler (m/f/d) ARM / C / C++


Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Your job will include the programming of micro-controller circuitry (8 / 16 / 32 Bit / ARM) in embedded systems
  • Besides App programming for iOS / Android und PC software, you will be responsible for hardware-near software developments
  • Your excellent understanding of correlations and principles of action will help you analyse customer needs and determine software requirements
  • In these tasks, you will rely on your independent capabilities in fault analysis, test case presentation and test system development for software components
  • In coordination with the general and development management, you will take on the tasks of product qualification and certification
  • As project leader, you will ensure success by focussed communication and coordination of relevant internal sectors

Requirements:
  • Fresh ideas and open-mindedness for interdisciplinary system thinking backed by information technology studies or similar qualifications
  • Proof of solid vocational experience in software development, along with skills in the fields of operating system building, task scheduling, driver architectures and inter-process communication
  • Pertinent experience in micro-controllers (preferably ARM-based) as well as embedded systems
  • Good knowledge in C/C++ programming languages
  • Know-how in ARM-based toolchain (GCC, Eclipse, JTAG debugging) and PIC microchip development environments
  • Experience in process fieldbus communication (BACnet) and Ethernet communication desirable
  • Independent and focussed working in combination with a positive team spirit and high quality awareness
  • Business fluency in German and good English language skills in speaking and writing

Business Controller (m/f/d)

Business Controller (m/f/d)


Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Principally responsible for defining, implementing and follow-up of key financial process (e.g. yearly budgeting, monthly financial closings, financial analysis and KPIs, etc.) for S+S and future group companies of S+S
  • Draft and discuss budgets for the entity, monitor budget performance and analyze deviations
  • Perform various financial analyses as a basis for advice or reporting, including forecasts, scenario planning, customer and product profitability, commissions, discounts and business cases as well refine and develop these processes and practices
  • Advise various stakeholders (including CEO S+S/Managing Director/Group CFO/Directors) on financial topics concerning sales and operations, as a basis for well-founded decision-making
  • Ensure the compliance and completeness of, develop (periodical) reports (P/L, BS and cash-flow), analyze trends and include conclusions as a basis for decision-making of management and integral reporting of the company
  • Analyze the (financial) organization, processes and administrations, identify potential financial risks, contribute to the development of risk control procedures and monitor compliance
  • Work closely with various business segments on opportunities and participate in process development
  • As S+S is a company within the Swedish stock listed Investment AB Latour group you will be responsible for reporting monthly and yearly information to the owner company


Requirements:
  • A degree in business administration with a focus on finance or controlling or a comparable qualification
  • Previous professional experience as business controller
  • A good knowledge of all financial processes within a manufacturing company, including yearly budgeting, monthly closings of Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet statement and Cash flow statements
  • Being able to make in depth analyses of margin developments (on company level and product level) and being able to define and set-up other financial metrics suitable to monitor and develop the company’s success
  • Pronounced analytical skills and high number affinity in combination with cross-interface process thinking
  • Good understanding of group reporting
  • Knowledge of IFRS is meritorious
  • You are characterized by a proactive way of working and a friendly and confident demeanor
  • Well-founded knowledge in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and ideally experience in using the ERP system MS Navision and/or Aaro
  • Fluent speaking and writing in German and English

Technical Sales Representative B2B (m/f/d)


Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Your area of responsibility includes the independent support and development of our existing and new customers through active customer communication
  • In addition to following up on offers by phone, e-mail or live chat, you will be responsible for the follow-up of our prospects
  • Furthermore, you will present our extensive product portfolio in online trainings and illustrate technical specifications in the process
  • You will be involved in field service customer support, responsible for finding customer-specific solutions and ensuring excellent customer service
  • You will intensify the maintenance and deepening of the customer base and exploit further market potentials
  • You will work closely with other specialist departments such as order processing and management


Requirements:
  • You have a completed training in the electrotechnical field with proven professional experience in active sales of manufacturing companies or a comparable qualification
  • Very good communication skills and a high degree of self-motivation
  • Sales persuasiveness as well as a target-oriented way of working
  • Technical expertise in components for the electrical industry or building automation
  • Experienced handling of MS-Office as well as ideally experience in handling the ERP system MS-Navision

Online Marketing Manager (m/f/d)


Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and optimizing our online marketing activities using search engine advertising and web analysis tools
  • Close cooperation with specialist departments and external service providers
  • Responsibility for the development and realization of content for our website as well as social media channels
  • Further responsibility for the planning, editorial conception and realization of our newsletter campaigns and representation of our webshop
  • Measuring the success of our online marketing activities on the basis of meaningful KPIs


Requirements:
  • Completed vocational training or a corresponding degree in the field of business, media or communication sciences
  • Demonstrable professional experience in B2B online marketing and in the use of content management systems
  • Good knowledge of image editing programs (e.g. Photoshop) and HTML advantageous
  • High online affinity and interest in creating texts in an electrotechnical environment
  • Independent and target-oriented work approach
  • Business fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
